"Passion for Paralympics" Travelling Exhibition, 2012     Images Concept Facts

Ottobock and the International Paralympic Committee have partnered to design an exhibition to create excitement for the London 2012 Paralympic Games and spread the Paralympic values of courage, determination, inspiration and equality.

The ‘Passion for Paralympics’ exhibition will feature the British Paralympic Team and international Paralympians and encourage visitors to show their support for all the athletes that will compete at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. The exhibition celebrates Ottobock’s involvement with the Paralympics since 1988 and role as the Official Prosthetic, Orthotic and Wheelchair Technical Service Provider.

On display the exhibition presents state of the art technology which enables Paralympians to compete, including hand cycles and running blades, as well as technology which helps amputees with everyday life. Interactive exhibits enable visitors to feel for themselves just how strong Paralympic athletes who use running blades have to be, as well as the chance to participate in a handcycling speed trial.

The exhibition will travel to Glasgow, Manchester and Cardiff in the build-up to the Games.

COORDINATION has designed and produced the exhibition elements for Ottobock, leading supplier of innovative products for people with restricted mobility. It was created as a traveling exhibition with modular configuration possibilities and includes many interactive exhibits.
