COORDINATION is a bureau for design and architecture with offices in Shanghai and Berlin.

We are specialized in creating high impact environments in brand and exhibition design. Driven by the quest for fresh ideas and extra-
ordinary solutions, COORDINATION is a concept laboratory, a bridge between creative energy and professional realization. We think strategically, design passionately and plan reliably.

Our team has developed interiors for global brands such as Nike, Nintendo, Falke, Adidas, Burlington and Deutsche Bank. In the cultural field we have realized exhibition architectures for institutions such as “Haus der Geschichte” in Ger-
many and the Shanghai Museum of Glass in China. COORDINATION also runs an in-house product and furniture design studio.

Our combined professional ex-
perience and extensive design knowledge is also available for the design of private homes.

We are currently working inter-
nationally on high class bespoke interior and architecture projects for various private clients.

COORDINATION consists of an international team whose project-specific design strategies take into account aesthetic, cultural and social considerations alongside the brand message or exhibition content. Since our founding in 2004 this approach has led to the realization of more than 90 projects worldwide.

Since 2008 Tilman Thürmer has managed East Asian projects from → COORDINATION Asia’s Shanghai office. Flip Sellin and Jochen Gringmuth run the Berlin head office, which focuses on projects in Europe and Central Asia.
